Marek is an accomplished and experienced musician with flair for many different styles. Inspired by his father to pick up a guitar at the tender age of 7, he has played ever since. One of his particular musical passions is jazz .He was performing a repertoir of jazz and blues tunes at the drama festival in Leatherhead theatre. His Slovakian roots have helped shape the way he perceives music . Influences from Slovakia may be heard amongst the gypsy jazz melodies and be-bop tunes that he plays. Marek also plays in several bands and has previously recorded and performed as a session player on many occasions. Skilled in music engineering and producing you can often find him working at his studio www.fullmoonstudios.co.uk where he records local bands and musicians.You can find the first album of his rock group "The Magpie" on iTunes, released in 2008. The second one is on it's way.He can also be seen playing with 'The Darlings' www.myspace.com/thisweeksdarlings who have also released an EP and regularly gig across the UK.

Marek & Stephen have met in 2009 and have been working on Gypsy jazz recordings which you will be able to hear very soon .
